Bio
Hi! I’m Jonela, the proud owner of Pawesome Care LLC, an insured pet care business based in Baltimore City offering dog walking, cat sitting, and in home pet care.
After a long career in Finance, I decided to follow what actually makes me happy which is caring for animals. It’s always been a huge part of my life and turning it into my full time work has been incredibly rewarding.
I have over 20 years of hands on experience with pets including my own dog and seven cats which has given me a strong understanding of different personalities and needs. I’m experienced with a wide range of care including administering medications such as injections, liquids, pills, and transdermal as well as Sub Q fluids and tube feeding.
I’ve also fostered dozens of cats and kittens, volunteered with rescue organizations, and participated in TNR efforts for community cats in my neighborhood. So whether your pet is outgoing, shy or needs a little extra patience, they’re in good hands.
Personalized Pet Care
At Pawesome Care, I believe every pet deserves personalized attention, love, and someone who genuinely enjoys being with them. When you choose me you’re choosing consistency, companionship, and care that’s tailored to your pet’s personality. Your pet gets one on one time in their own space where they’re most comfortable.
For my dog clients, I never mix walks with dogs from different households. It keeps things safer, calmer, and honestly just more enjoyable for them. Whether your dog is all about a brisk walk, a slow sniff everything stroll or just wants some extra love and attention at home, I meet them where they are.
And for my cat people, you are very much in the right place. I have a lot of experience with cats of all personalities, from the social ones who greet you at the door to the ones who would prefer I politely ignore them for a few visits. I respect their space, read their cues, and let them warm up on their terms.
I’m also experienced with a wide range of medical care for both cats and dogs, including administering injections, pills, liquids, and transdermal medications, as well as Sub Q fluids and tube feeding. If your pet needs a little extra care, I’ve got it covered.
I’m also happy to care for a variety of other pets including birds, small animals, and reptiles. If it’s important to you, it’s important to me.
You’ll always get detailed updates after each visit including plenty of photos. I’m an anxious pet parent myself so I fully understand how important those little check ins are. I want you to feel completely at ease knowing your pet is safe, happy, and in good hands.

I also offer a handful of “human help” services to make your life easier whether that’s running errands or being there for deliveries when you can’t be.
